Innovation in healthcare is rapidly advancing and is crucial for improving the quality of health care. It is clear that there will be no improvement in care without technological contribution. The aim of this Summer School is educate ambitious TechMed professionals in state-of-the-art medical technology and on how to use medical technology efficiently for optimal and personalized patient care. This Summer school consists of four masterclasses, focused on the role of medical technology in the care of geriatic patients and patient in middle- and low-income countries, the role of artificial intelligence in healthcare, and the role of technology in making healthcare more sustainable. Participants are clinical technologists, engineers, medical specialists (in training), working as PhD-student, master student, researchers, in clinical functions or in the industry. They will be united to learn with and from each other by means of short lectures and an interactive program in the afternoon. Participants will be inspired to develop and implement technological innovations within their work as a clinician, technician and/or researcher (in training).
